Virgin Media and Sky are rivalling each other once again with some deals aimed at tempting customers to sign up to a new contract.
Both firms are offering some excellent price cuts and there’s even some free gifts thrown in as well to make things even more appealing.
So, if your contract has ended and you are looking for a better offer here’s how to reduce your bill with these price cuts.Virgin’s offers come to an end today with its latest reductions only running until March 27.
However, if you are quick you can get some very good discounts and even the option of a free Amazon Echo and connected Ring doorbell.
The best of Virgin’s cuts come to those who want to sign up to Virgin’s Full House Sports Bundle.
It features over 240 other channels including Sky Sports and BT Sport with Virgin boasting that its monthly price is now its ‘lowest’.
That price drop means customers can have this bundle beamed into their home for £65 per month rather than the usual £77.
You’ll get this discount for 12 months which means there’s a total of £144 to be saved over the term of the contract.
There is another bonus to taking out this plan as you’ll get a free Echo Dot smart speaker and Ring Doorbell thrown in for free.
It also includes access to Virgin’s VIVID 200 broadband and free calls at the weekend.
If that doesn’t take your fancy then there’s a very good deal from Sky available right now.
The satellite TV firm has just discounted its Sky TV, Sports and Cinema bundle.
This means you can currently get access to over 300 channels including movies and Sky Sports for £45 per month rather than the usual £45.
The deal lasts for 18-months and includes a standard Sky Q box which can store 500 hours of TV on it and record three shows at once.
There’s a £20 upfront fee to pay with this price rising to £199 for those wanting the improved 2TB Q box.
Sky is also saying that customers can add unlimited broadband to this bundle for an extra £16 per month.
If you don’t want movies and sports there’s also the offer of Sky Entertainment and broadband for £33 per month.
This is a saving of £7 off the usual £40 price.
Finally, if you already have Sky and want to watch all the F1 action this season they Sky is currently giving racing fans the chance to watch every race for £10 per month – saving £8.
