Apple fans should definitely put June 3 in their diaries

That’s the date when the US technology firm’s next big WWDC developers conference will take place.

Although WWDC might not sound that thrilling, this is where Apple will reveal the new features coming to your iPhone, iPad and MacBook.

Last year we saw iOS 12 unveiled which added features such as Screen Time and in 2019 we should get a first glimpse of iOS 13.

As well as updates to the iPhone’s software fans can also expect to see what’s coming to the Mac, Apple Watch and iPad.

The big event, which will see thousands of developers from across the world attending, will take place at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose.

“WWDC is Apple’s biggest event of the year. It brings thousands of the most creative and dedicated developers from around the world together with over a thousand Apple engineers to learn about our latest platform innovations and to connect as a community,” said Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.

“Our developers are incredibly passionate about creating the next generation of mind-blowing experiences for the world through apps. We can’t wait to get together with them and share what’s next.”

The general public can’t attend this event but developers can apply for tickets today through March 20 at 5 p.m. PDT from the WWDC website.

Apple says that tickets are issued through a random selection process, and developers will be notified of their application status by March 21 at 5 p.m. PDT.

Those not lucky enough to be their can live-stream the conference on the WWDC app for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV as well as through the Apple Developer website.
