GALAXY S10 RELEASE LIVE
UPDATE: Samsung has now officially announced the all-new Galaxy S10.
As expected, this phone will arrive in three models including the Galaxy a cheaper S10e, S10 and larger S10+.
The S10+ has been shown throughout tonight’s keynote and appears to be the most premium of the trio with it featuring a larger 6.4-inch screen and dual front-facing camera which offers the ability to add depth of field to your photos.
There’s also three cameras on the rear of the phone which offer improved zoom and the option to shoot images with a wide and ultra wide-angle lens.
Other new features include the ability to unlock the device via an embedded fingerprint sensor under the screen.
Samsung has also confirmed the rumours that the Galaxy S10 will be capable of reverse wireless charging via a technology called Wireless PowerShare.
This means the product will be able to charge other products that are placed on its rear.
Such a feature debuted on the Mate 20 Pro back in October.

Samsung has announced the S10+ will come with up to 1TB of storage and 12GB of RAM.
Moreover, the firm has stated the handset will come with a microSD slot that will allow another 512GB of memory to be added.
Samsung has declared the S10 will arrive with improved performance when compared to its predecessor.
However, it is unclear what chipset is housed inside the product.
The Galaxy S10 range will arrive with an “Instagram mode” in its camera app that will let fans instantly share photos and stories on the social media platform.
As well as announcing this new trio of devices, Samsung has also unveiled its first 5G-ready phone called the S10 5G.
This will arrive later in the year and will feature a huge 6.7-inch screen, giant 4,500mAh battery and extra camera on the rear case for improved augmented reality.

ORIGINAL STORY: Galaxy S10 is expected to debut in at least three variants when Samsung takes to the stage in San Francisco.
In addition to standard and “+” models of the phone, it is also anticipated a cheaper variety of the handset will be showed dubbed the Galaxy S10e.
It is assumed this version of the device will forgo some premium features in exchange for a more appealing price tag.
The most notable of these has been said by Bloomberg to be a signature Samsung curved display.
Instead, it is presumed the Galaxy S10e will flaunt a flat OLED screen.
With that said, all three models of the flagship are expected to come with an all-screen design and have a cutout within each’s panel for their respective front-facing camera systems.
The more premium models are expected to be priced as such.
In fact, Gizmodo previously discussed the expected costs for each flagship.
They were said to be:
• Galaxy S10 Lite, 128GB storage – £669
• Galaxy S10, 128GB storage – £799
• Galaxy S10, 512GB storage – £999
• Galaxy S10+, 128GB – £899
• Galaxy S10+, 512GB – £1,099
• Galaxy S10+, 1TB storage – £1,399
Although the Galaxy S10 is expected to flaunt myriad features that make it appealing, it appears Samsung has just given Android fans three big reasons not to pick up the handset.
That is because ahead of the S10’s release, the South Korean OEM has discounted the prices of its Note 9, S9 and S8 devices.
Plus, the tech giant is also giving away a free wireless charger with each product.
The Galaxy Note 9 is currently £100 off its original asking price, meaning the phablet now starts at £799.
