With the ratings of the game’s top players being revealed earlier this week, that means FIFA season is almost upon us. FIFA 20 launches on September 27 and will offer hundreds of players, dozens of fully-licensed leagues, and plenty of big moments.
If you want to jump into FIFA 20, you may be wondering which version is right for you. Luckily we’ve scouted out an array of great deals for you on each version, including one with £15 cashback from Quidco when you pre-order from GAME.
FIFA 20 Standard Edition
Despite being the cheapest way to get on the pitch, FIFA 20’s Standard Edition includes more than just the game. In fact, you can get three rare gold packs (one per week for three weeks), a Loan Icon player, and a special edition kit too. This helps give your Ultimate Team a boost in the first few weeks of launch, and if you get a rare player you’ll be able to command a decent fee in the transfer market!
FIFA 20 Champions Edition
Looking to get a head start on your friends and rivals in Ultimate Team mode? The Champions Edition is a great way to do just that. Not only can you grab 12 rare gold packs (one per week for 12 weeks), you’ll still get the Loan Icon Player and special kit, while also being able to play from September 24 – a literal head start!
FIFA 20 Ultimate Edition
The biggest FIFA 20 bundle, the Ultimate Edition is only available digitally. You can grab yourself some truly incredible content though – two rare gold packs per week for 12 weeks (that’s 24 chances at Aubameyang for someone like me!), a Loan Icon Player, special kits and again, early access from September 24.
If you’re an EA Access member (and you really should be!) you can even save 10%.
We’ll have plenty of coverage of FIFA 20 at launch, including it’s much-discussed Volta Football mode which blends the series’ realism with the history and tradition of street football. Personally, I’m looking forward to re-learning how to hit free-kicks again now that the system has been re-written.
