EE is attempting to lure Virgin Media and BT customers by providing an Apple TV 4K and access to BT Sport with its internet offerings.
Starting from £37 per month, customers are able to get an 18-month broadband package that comes with both, providing access to a wealth of sport coverage.
It is worth noting only EE pay monthly mobile customers with a smartphone or either a 12 or 24-month SIM only contract are able to take advantage of the new offers.
The Apple TV 4K was revealed by the American tech giant back in September 2017 and, as the name suggests, allows users to watch a legion of content in the high resolution.
The set-top box also supports HDR, meaning content is presented in an incredibly vivid fashion.
Plus, the device also introduces Dolby Atmos, allowing users to fully immerse themselves in whatever they are watching.
The remote included with the Apple 4K supports voice commands via the tech powerhouse’s virtual assistant, Siri.
On its own, the Apple TV 4K has a starting price of £179.
EE’s decision to also bundle in inclusive access to BT Sport means customers that sign up to the new broadband deals can indulge in some of the biggest sporting events around.
The UK provider promises to deliver a range of different speeds depending on the broadband package chosen.
EE also allows customers to check their average speed by entering their address on its site.
Commenting on the new broadband deals Marc Allera, the CEO of BT’s Consumer division, said: “We’re giving customers the TV, film and sport they love in the best quality on Apple TV 4K.
“By combining Apple TV 4K and BT Sport with EE’s award-winning unlimited home broadband, we’re able to provide our customers with a premium TV service that not only provides great value for money, but a great experience at home, as well as on the go.”
EE customers that take on either the firm’s new standard or fibre home broadband packages will also be granted an extra 5GB of data to their mobile phone plan.
The UK provider’s new offerings are available right now.
