Apple MacBook Pro and MacBook Air deals – How to Save £120 with this price dropping code

Apple MacBook fans can get some very good discounts and deals this Easter weekend.

The hugely popular laptops are currently being offered with a hefty discount via a price-cutting code.

UK retailer, Currys, is offering £120 off a number of these machines including the new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and smaller Apple MacBook.

The price drop is available via a unique “MAC120” code which customers enter when they checkout online.

With the discount applied you can pick up the MacBook Air for £1079 or the 2018 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar for £1629.

Apple only recently refreshed its popular MacBook Air with this laptop now featuring an improved Retina display, more power, better keyboard and a Touch ID fingerprint scanner for faster unlocking and more secure payments.

Speaking at the launch of the MacBook Air, Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said: “The first MacBook Air revolutionised Mac with its thin wedge-shaped aluminium design. It forever changed the entire industry for portable computers and became the world’s most loved notebook.

“Redesigning MacBook Air started with a stunning Retina display and all-day battery life, and then we added Touch ID and the Apple T2 Security Chip, the latest processors, incredible sound, the third-generation keyboard and Force Touch trackpad, high speed Thunderbolt 3 ports, and of course macOS Mojave in a beautiful, thinner, lighter, all-aluminium design that a whole new generation of MacBook Air customers are going to love.”

Along with Currys offering the £120 off, there’s also a good offer from John Lewis which allows customers to pay for their MacBook over 18 months interest-free.

This credit offer is available on the full range of Apple laptops and also includes three months of free Apple Music.

One final MacBook deal comes directly from Apple with the UD technology firm offering up to £710 off a new machine when you trade in an older computer.

As long as you have the serial number of the device you want to trade in, Apple will give you an instant quote to let you know how much it’s worth.

The news of these discounts come as rumours suggest Apple could refresh its MacBook lineup later this year with more power and extra RAM a possible upgrade.

It’s also thought that Apple could be planning to launch a bigger laptop with a 16-inch screen although fans may have to until next year before getting their hands on this larger device.
