Sony will be heading to Mobile World Congress next week where the company is expected to reveal its all-new Xperia XZ4.
All rumours and speculation point to the XZ4 arriving with a huge screen that will offer 21:9 aspect ratio which would mean it could have a taller panel than many of its rivals.
With most movies filmed in this format, it seems Sony could be targeting those who want the ultimate cinema-style viewing experience whilst on the move.
Other extras could include a triple camera system with some recently leaked case designs showing how this will look.
If true, the images show the lenses stacked in a vertical pattern rather than following the new Galaxy S10’s horizontal layout.
There’s also no sign of a fingerprint of a scanner on the back of the phone with this sensor looking likely to return to the side of the device.
Bigger battery, faster Qualcomm 855 processor and the addition of the headphone port have also been widely reported.
We’ll find out full details on Monday 25 with Sony’s MWC conference starting at 7.30am GMT.
Although the XZ4 looks set to bring plenty of updates and new features it seems the impending launch of this new flagship means now is a good time to buy the current XZ3.
This phone has been reduced with some retailers, such as Currys, selling Sony’s phone for just £599.99 – that’s a saving of £100 off the original price.
As a reminder, the XZ3 includes a 6-inch Quad HD OLED screen, 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera and S-Force Front Surround Sound speakers.
There’s also touch sensitive sides which allow you to control options on the screen via simple taps on the edges of the phone.
The XZ3 ships with Android 9 Pie out of the box and is available in Black, Red and Green.
