Huawei P20 Pro was unveiled back in March of 2018 and took the smartphone industry by storm thanks to its triple-camera system, huge 4,000mAh battery and rapid performance.
P20 Pro was also renowned for its Twilight colour variant that was instantly striking thanks to its hues of purple and blue that changed depending on the angle light was striking it.
Meanwhile, the Mate 20 Pro took the solid foundation laid by the P20 Pro and refined it with a host of new technologies.
The newer Chinese flagship arrived with a slightly larger 6.39-inch display with extremely minimal bezels.
Moreover, the phone’s panel also housed its fingerprint scanner, providing a futuristic new way of accessibility.
Plus, the Mate 20 Pro also improved upon the P20 Pro’s camera system by swapping out its monochrome lens for a wide-angle system.
The Mate 20 Pro’s wide-angle camera allowed the phone to take incredibly unique shots by fitting more subjects into a single frame.
We loved both Chinese flagships at Express.co.uk, awarding both a full five out of five stars in our respective reviews.
However, EE is currently making both even more tempting thanks to a new deal.
The network is currently giving away a free Huawei Watch GT to customers that pick up either device.
The Huawei Watch GT debuted alongside the Mate 20 Pro back in October and while the product lacks in the way of traditional smartwatch functionally, it does offer some commendable fitness features, as Express.co.uk noted in our review of the wearable.
We said: “The Huawei Watch GT is a great fitness and health tracker that ultimately forgets to deliver basic smartwatch functionality.
“The wearable’s distinct lack of notification interactivity and third-party applications is simply impossible to ignore.
“Anyone thinking about purchasing the Huawei Watch GT needs to be aware of its glaring caveat; that it is a fitness tracker first and foremost disguised in the body of a smartwatch.”
EE is giving away the wearable for free for customers that choose a certain tariff for both the Mate 20 Pro and P20 Pro.
The tariff in question for the Mate 20 Pro costs £52.20-per-month and has an upfront cost of £10.
Moreover, the 24-month plan comes with 30GB of data in addition to unlimited minutes and text messages.
In contrast, the P20 Pro tariff comes in at £38.70-per-month and includes 10GB of data along with unlimited minutes and text message.
This plan also lasts for 24 months and has an upfront cost of £50.
